Somerville resident Jodi Colella engages ordinary materials and craft practice into burgeoning shapes and installations. She received a BA from Boston University and studied at Mass. College of Art & Design and School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston. She has exhibited at NK Gallery, Danforth Museum, Wheaton College and the Textile Museum. Awards include 2013 Artist-in-Residence, Fruitlands Museum; and Pollack-Krasner Fellowship, Vermont Studio Center. Her work is collected by Meditech, Fruitlands Museum and many private individuals.
