Somerville Skillshare is back! On March 2nd, 2014, nearly 800 people attended the first annual Somerville Skillshare, a free learning event that featured classes taught by nearly 40 local teachers. Now, we’re turning this event into a monthly series so that we can continue to showcase the unique talents of local residents.
We are actively looking for individuals who can teach a class. You can be a professional, a student, a hobbyist, an alien, a power ranger…we really don’t care, as long as it’s something you’re passionate about and you can keep a small audience engaged for up to 50 minutes. At our disposal will be the Armory Cafe, a room equipped with tables, chairs, and a small stage.
Get creative and fill out the application form below, and we’ll get in touch with you soon to see if we can make it work. If you’re selected to teach a class, the information you submit will be published on the website as part of your “teacher bio.”
There’s something wrong with the form—whenever I fill in a field and go on to the next one, the response I just entered gets cleared out.
Adam,
Thanks for alerting us to this issue! It appears that WordPress is converting black text to white text. Hopefully we’ll have this fixed soon. In the mean time, any info you enter into the form will still get sent to us when you hit “submit.”
